Check an Obsidian Bases file before you open it
Paste a .base file and, if you like, a few of your notes. Your browser checks the YAML, the Bases format and every filter and formula, then previews each view over your notes: which rows match, in what order, grouped and summed. Free, and nothing is uploaded. A paid run fixes the file or builds one from a description, and the page checks that file too.
The examples replay saved model runs - the whole page, free.

What this does, and what it does not
A .base file is YAML, and most broken bases are broken YAML: a double-quoted formula with quotes
inside it, a value with a colon, a regular expression in double quotes, a # that
starts a comment. The page reads the YAML strictly and points at the line. It then checks the
Bases format from the official help pages - one and/or/not
per filter group, view types, groupBy direction, exact summary names - and parses
every filter and formula: unknown functions, wrong argument counts, a Duration rounded before
reading .days, date() on a property some notes lack, a
formula.X that is never defined, formulas that depend on each other in a circle.
With sample notes it runs the file: each view's rows, sort, groups, limit and summaries, and every property name looked up in your notes. The preview is an approximation of Obsidian, not Obsidian: it has no plugins, reads dates without a time zone, and where the documentation is silent it says what it assumed.
